icon_tutorial [ godofstrife ]	6:27p	I know this community gets a lot of posts about color difference of icons on websites and what they looked like in Photoshop. This is one of those questions. I've read this tutorial on image file formats. I save my icons in PSCS3 as .PNG-24 via "Save for Web & Devices" with Interlaced and Transparency checked. I use the latest version of Firefox. The icons look fine on tinypic and imageshack, if slightly more faded, but if I post them to my journal the colors change and more specifically the same icon appears differently on my profile page than it does in the navigation bar. Is this an LJ issue or can I do anything to change this? Example: the top icon looks like it does in PS the bottom one looks uglier, with less contrast ETA: it's the same difference with my icon in this post and the icon that shows I'm logged in in the navigation strip.
